Hopewell Rocks |
Mid May through mid October is the perfect time to visit the Hopewell Rocks. The tide comes in and out approximately ever 6 hours. On high tide you can canoe or kayak around the flowerpots and on low tide you are able to go down and walk the ocean floor. When you walk the ocean floor it is less floor and more red coloured mud because water just sat in top of the floor for 6 hours. The flowerpots stand approximately 40-70 feet tall. When the tide comes in it can reach 16 meters. This gives the Bay of Fundy one of the highest average tides in the world
